CD 1: Media Vita Elegy in the vocal polyphonies of the 15th and 16th century. The elegies of the prophet Jeremiahs from the old testament are a large part of the roman-catholic lethargy in the holy week. The polyphony of this piece was very popular in the 15th and 16th century and encouraged the composers to extraordinary works, which were full of expressionism and a near magical tone.
All pieces on CD 1 were recorded for the first time.
CD 2: Intabolatura di Balli this CD shows the development of the literary language and keyboard instruments in baroque and the renaissance. The similarities, which spread through Europe in two centuries, show many relations between various composers and art schools
