An approach to philosophy in biographical sketches

After an intermission of six years Konrad Paul Liessmann has decided to put the icing on cake of his Ö1-philosophy-series “Denken und Leben”. For years he had wanted to complement his extremely successful CD-series with these portraits of rebels and eccentrics of philosophy. “They stand aside or in between, they are difficult to classify, sometimes they annoy us, they think unsystematically and disrespectfully, if they do write at all, they prefer a literary or essayistic style, some of them appear like a rising star which quickly dies off, they don’t form schools and they achieve academical eminence only in exceptional cases.”
